talking point suggestion: should children 'walk' dogs?

i think it should be common sense, that children have enough responsibilty taking care of themselves when they are out, without the added responsibility of a dog. Which is a living being, not a toy. A dog can be a friendly animal, or a vicious beast. An adult responsibility, not a childs.

well said...
alough i think that if a child has a pet they should help look after it...and to walk the dog with an adult...
a child cannot b expected to clean up after a dog (alough by looking at pavements many adults dont either!!!!)
on another note i dont have a dog but why do people visit me and bring there dog, leaving me to hoover up the hairs!!! crazy

hi maria..
u figured it out then....u not had enough of this subject earlier..lol..a dog is not a suitable pet 4 a child..a share in the care & responsibilty maybe..as laws are involved in dog ownership it can never really be soley a childs pet..meant without adults..seen a lot of kids with dogs near me during holidays..i always take 'poo bags' when i take my dogs out..no comment on last sentence....

minnitheminx was a RL friend that I introduced to hootoo, I didn't do a very good of it though, as she didn't hang around long. I used to, and sometimes still do use txtspk with friends.
I am quite capable of using and reading txtspk, would you believe I even use it in text messages on my mobile phone
