I took a buddy of mine to the airport a couple of months ago. It was like a 4 hour trip from here- wouldn't do it again. There's a 40 mile radius that surrounds Newark- that's where all the fun resides. People are crazy...ladies putting on their makeup at 75, cell phones, people pulling out in front of you every second...it was a blast. Don't get me wrong. I know traffic. I grew up in New Haven and I95 can be pretty hairy around there. As bad as it ever got in New Haven or Hartford wouldn't shine a candle to Newark on a "normal" day.

The one thing I'va always notices about Newark is that is faintly smells of blueberries if you're at the right altitude.

I think that may be the sewage-treatment facilities. I read somewhere that they've been adding fruit scents to the process recently...obviously it's working then eh?

Well, whenever I visit the dental academy, or as I know it "The House Of Pain" I always end up parking on the roof. You can see all of Newark and the Manhattan Skyline.
