Do I get a position in the new administration in exchange for my vote? I'm thinking of Chief Procurer of Doughnuts, Chocolates, and Other Calorie-Laden Foodstuffs. Unlike certain folks, I'm actually qualified in the procuring (and eating) of said items, and I'd really do a 'heck of a job'.

Once we're in office (ahem), my department will have a quality assurance division so that we obtain only the best items for our Researchers. And we'll take competitive bids from various manufacturers to ensure that our budget is wisely used. And there will be recipe contests, Chocolate Festivals, wine tastings, and a whole host of yummy events.

Since the vote will take place in October, perhaps we can start off with a Halloween Gourmet party.

I just love a project that I can really get my teeth into...
