Welcome to the H2G2 Comedian's Guild! This is a gathering place for all amateur and professional Comedians to gather about, tell jokes, and generally be happy funny people. The guild is of course only beginning, and there are several things that need to be done:

• Get a Yahoo! group started
• Maybe find a new name, the current one sounds too much like the Musician's Guild, and we don't want confusion (Perhaps a funny name? We are a group of comedians after all)
• Get a little snazzy short form of that name, whatever it may be
• Get a graphic (maybe the H2G2 picture library has a good one?)
• Get members

How to Join

If you would like to join the guild, simply start a conversation with some sort of title inferring that you want to join the guild. It's that easy! We'll need to know what you would like to be called in the on the member list, and we'd really appreciate it if you included your favorite joke in the request. It's not mandatory, but we like to see the workings of senses of humour among the Guild Members.

Rules

What?!?! RULES!?!?! IN A COMEDY CLUB!?!? Yes, unfortunately we have to include a rule. Just one, and that one is that there be no off color, crude, or deliberatly insulting jokes. The Guide wouldn't like it, and the Guild wouldn't like it either. That is all.
