Secretly Not Here Any More

Alternatively, if one doesn't want to accept valid criticism, just plaster a ridiculous subheader over the top of the piece and pretend that this absolves you of the need to write factually.

I'll go shout at a wall now.

given that almost everyone will know that star trek is fictional i'm not sure it is required.
however i can see why it would be best to make sure, but the huge subheader is a bit garish and somewhat spoiled my enjoyment of an excellant article,
can i suggest putting it in as plain text at the beggining?

much smiley - cheers
really liked the ideas from the researchers
also its not a fault of this piece but i could never understand why people got dressed up or took some of the things they did into the holo deck - i mean surely clothes could be put on and data could be uploaded for some of the non standard things.
the only reason i could see is cultural items, but theres more than just them.

Here's an actual link that's not merely gratuitous, as I would normally suggest:
Where you have "It would even contain another holodeck, running the same programme" you might link to A533927

Speaking of gratuitous links - good job working carrot juice into the mix smiley - ok

I'll read this over more carefully this evening

Tonsil Revenge (PG)

I think the word "Elixer" is supposed to have two 'i's.

My favorite memory of a holodeck moment on DS9 involved Dr. Bashir getting stuck in a James Bondian scenario with the safety controls somehow being shut off. Quark's brother (I've forgotten his name) was attempting to repair or open the holodeck and he pulled out a rack of circuitry. Amongst the odd stuff hooked into the circuitry was a hamburger spatula!
