I've not slept properly for years. I'm sure a couple more days won't cause any more damage to my fragile little mind than what it currently deals with.

I didn't realise a Single Transferrable Vote system would cause this much controversy, and like it's been pointed out, just because your vote is transferrable doesn't mean you have to. You can just vote for your first preference, but if that candidate then gets knocked out for having the lowest number of votes, your opinion will no longer count. Yes it's complicated but it's a much fairer system than first past the post.

Besides which the candidates that generally win under STV tend to have a high number of first preference votes anyway.

It also means that the candidates can have endless fun trying to negotiate preference-swap deals with each other.

I think that is the strength of the None of the Above Campaign.
