smiley - cool game!

Approx. how many points for different objectives is standard? What's the range? (ie would acheiving a target be 2 points or 50?)

I don't know the game, so I'm not an expert here, but it seems good to me! smiley - ok

Fun, but expensive in cameras. Given the proliferation of Digital Cameras these days would it be worth suggesting using one of them instead?

But it DOES sound fun. I have to organise an event to take place before a party in March, and this is the cheapest idea that has crossed my horizon so far. smiley - smiley

All the best

Good idea, Ben! I hadn't thought of that -- I *have* a digital camera, but they hadn't come out yet when I was doing this kind of thing.

As far as the points go, it doesn't matter so much, as long as they're relatively uniform across the targets (i.e., you might have one worth 15 and another worth 30, but you wouldn't have one worth 5 and another worth 500). The points for each target are usually printed on the paper with the targets, to help the groups prioritize.

Nice entry smiley - ok

Not sure if this is entirely relevant, but it's a nice story nevertheless...

As a fresher, I was involved in such a hunt in our RAG week, with the title being the 'Invasion of London', where our first objective was to obtain a pineapple (why? I've no idea...), and any subsequent photos be awarded extra points if they featured the pineapple.

Tasks for us included:

>Kissing a policeman
>Having our photograph taken with a famous person (we had the good fortune to run into Glenda Jackson at Westmister Tube station - well, she asked us, quite understandably for whom we are collecting for, whilst we were doing...)
>Having a piggy-back fight in a tube station
>Getting to the top of Monument
>Sitting in the drivers seat of a fast car (a rather flash BMW)
>Being broadcast on a radio station (one of our party had a brother-in-law who used to work at Capital Radio - who gave us a name, and we got broadcast over Capital Radio Gold smiley - biggrin)

I can't remember the rest, but after our effort, we came out top, and won the hunt!

It also helps if it is a lovely day... as when we joined the next bunch of invaders the next year, it was raining, and we decided not to bother after the first 3 items smiley - sadface

Stay smiley - cool,
WD
