Talking Point: Your Favourite Hitchhiker's Moment
Created | Updated Nov 28, 2008
Fans of Douglas Adams will be delighted to know that BBC Online is planning to launch a whole site devoted to the original radio and TV series of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The main part of the site will be a 'best of' section, available online, on demand. We will also be giving people the opportunity to vote for their favourite Hitchhiker's moment and character.
Here's what we'd like you to do, so we can make sure the site contains the things you want to see:
Tell us your favourite Hitchhiker's moment (TV and radio) and why you like it. Is it the Vogon poety reading, or Marvin's brave defeat of the Frogstar robot? Whatever, let us know what it is, and why you love it.
Tell us your favourite character. Is it Marvin, Zaphod, or even Slartibartfast? Whoever it is, let us know why you like them, and pick one moment from the series that sums them up perfectly.
We'll be using this information to help us draw up a shortlist of characters and clips for the site. Have your say, and help us build the ultimate Hitchhiker's shrine!
