YAY!!! ...This just in...
In response to widely published reports stating that he recently underwent treatments for a brain tumor, former Beatle(YAY!!!) George Harrison, in a statement issued by his lawyer today (7/9), said that he was "feeling fine."(YAY!!!)

The statement said that Harrison, 58(he's the youngest BEATLE, Dragonfly observes), underwent radiotherapy treatments more than a month ago at the Oncology Institute of Southern Switzerland in Bellinzona. The statement did not make mention of a brain tumor, nor did it specify the reason that Harrison underwent the treatments.
"I am feeling fine() and I am really sorry(
) for the unnecessary worry which has been caused by the reports appearing in today's press," Harrison said in the statement.
The weekly Swiss newspaper Sonntagszeitung(bless you!!! ) recently reported that Harrison underwent treatment for a brain tumor during May and June, when he regularly visited Swiss cancer specialist Franco Cavalli at the institute.
Said Cavalli in a statement, as reported by the British press: "Mr. George Harrison(MBE) was referred to the hospital
to undergo a course of radiotherapy. Harrison successfully completed this course(YAY!!!) more than a month ago and we foresee no need for further treatment here.(YAY!!!)"
Harrison underwent surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., in early May to remove a cancerous growth from one of his lungs, and he was treated for throat cancer in the late '90s in Great Britain.
Poor guy. Smoking is bad for you.

Life´s bad for you. You die in the end anyway
As for the number of tumors! Lets hold the hope that there´s anything to pray to, so anyone may get through whatever they have...
Perhaps he sung to much Hare Krishna...

I remember the first time I heard "My sweet lord". I was still a full believing Baptist with the whole programm to run through, you know, conversion, repentance, everything, and I heard it on the afternoon programm on a sunday afternoon in the radio. I went:" WoW! some christian song!" and started singing "My sweet Lord" and suddenly HARE KRISCHNA!!!
Well. That did it for me
I´m a little about it now, but any Rama, Lama, Guru, Priest still gives me the shivers (evan the Baptist ones
)
::sings:: just give me that rock and roll music...

I don´t like Old Brownie... I want them fresch and warm...
Do you know the Earth Wind and Fire version of "Gotta getcha into my life? I always thought that was an original EW&F song, and the Beatles covered it, until I found this record where the Rock´n´roll-song was on as well.
I think we need this smiley, too.

Sorry, D, but I think we are leaving the purpose of this thread...
Let us pray...
John, who thou art in heaven
You went to early away
You had no kingdom coming
Thy will wasn´t yet written,
or perhaps I havn´t heard of it being done...
Don´t lead us into beliving George is bad
Just because he didn´t stop smoking,
Couse we are the creatures
Creaping around
and hoping to hear good music...
Amen...

It's a sign of respect for holy things... bowing while making the Catholic sign of the cross!??
(I'm really not sure-- I hoped you would know!!! )

Ah, I get that...
I think we will have to invent a whole new set of rituals. I told friends of mine about this thread yesterday, church of the beatles, etc, and they suggested we should say "Yesterday" instead of "Amen". ... so they were going "yesterday" at every apropriate moment

Hahhahaaa.... Herrrmmm... clever friends... But "Yesterday" sounds as if we are living in the past... Herrrrmmmm....
You know how at Catholic mass they have you say "Peace be with you" and you shake hands!?? Maybe we could do something similar and say something like, "All You Need Is Love" and we could also have a special "Good Day Sunshine" mass...
