Dragonfly. "A poet can survive everything but a misprint"-- Oscar Wilde

That term only makes sense, you know...

...Did I ever tell you that I took a few months of German in 8th grade!?? That means I was about fourteen... WOW!!! I wanted to take it because Mom took it... then I didn't like it(too Germanic smiley - tongueout). Then I took two years of French in high school (16-17-ish) because my Dad took Spanish and there was no other language left to take-- but my brother took French too, so I really didn't get to be original. smiley - tongueout

Finally, I took two semesters(one year) of Spanish, which is about two years of Spanish at high school from about 19-20... wow... Spanish I use a BIT: Most anything in print here is in Spanish AND English... It's so easy to forget a language unless you practice it consistently. smiley - tongueout

I considered Spanish as a minor, but changed my mind. I was going to go to Mexico, too, and study there for a semester. It would've been cool, but I'm glad I've stayed with OTHER endeavors!!! smiley - winkeye

I took french when I went to the Gymnasium. That is from the 5th class until the 11th class (translating german schoolsystems is so difficult.smiley - tongueout) I took it, as I was fluent in reading and writing of english when I had entered school at 6 years of age (believe me or not; perhaps my vocabulary wasn´t as large but I had just as bad spellingsmiley - tongueout)

I hated french. Spelling again. We had a cool existencialist teacher at one point. He used to say: Traffic signs are made in case you have to deal with an insuranceccopany

When I was 16 I spent a week at a school in Paris, and that gave me a wonderful accent smiley - tongueout I am quite happy to talk french now, but leave me alone with the rest of it (and the french smiley - tongueout)

E-Lizzy: Why can´t the boys just OPEN their mouths for a change???

They leave us guessing all the time, and have no idea about our FEALINGS and who we feel used by those DUMB males, who only think as far as their...

Well, I think I´ll better go to the bathroom NOW....

Ok... see you when you get back...

My friend and I were talking about boys/guys/men. She thinks they always lie.

"That's not necessarily true," I explained...."It's just that they don't always know quite how to say the truth."

That goes for girls, too... but oftentimes males seem to have a hard time expressing the truth... would you agree!??
