Ah... ok...
Ian and I were cracking up at this thought he had!!! Nearly every pretty place you go to in Colorado, there's someone offering to take your picture and give you a copy(or put it on a t-shirt or other souvenir) for a nice price. We hiked up to Gem Lake at Estes Park yesterday, and there wasn't anyone trying to take our money. Ian thought of setting up a camera and a computer and making some profit from offering a "picture and wallet-sized fridge magnet set combo for only $15". HAhahhaaa...

Ian gave me the same advice a few times while we were trying to get to different groovy spots...
::sigh:: So cute when he says, "Don't Panic".
And, Feisor, I'm aware of your Museship Request. I waited to reply in that thread, because I like to write down the name, title, and usernumber in question before I do so, and I read it this morning before work, which is a time where I never write that info down!!!

Sermon: (a short one)
The reading of todays scripture is from "Let it be", Across the universe, Vers 1. It reads:
*Words are flying out, like endless rain into a papercup,
They slither while, they pass, they slip away
across the universe.*
What does this mean, for us, today in our lives? Let us have a look at the first word, we find:
Words: Words is something that make up our lives. We are constantly going about with words. There are of course other means of comunication, and you must not neglect the necessity of bodylanguage, or the language of music. McCartney/Lennon have put this into words in the Song "I´ve got a feeling!"(*I´ve got a feeling, a feeling deep inside oh yeah (yeah) Oh yeah)
Going on through the text.
Are Flying: Words are of course spoken. But the seem to fly, not crawl, not soar, no, they are FLYING. This just shows the consistancy McCartney/Lennon took to the setting of this song: the universe. But I will come back to this later.
Out: Out not in. Very extrovert this expression, and expression is what we need words for...
like endless rain: Here we are prepared for a comparison. We know now, that what comes not is ment literaly. Liking to this, we find, that endless rain makes things seem dreary. Endless loop of rain, what does this mean for what we say? Is it of any importance.?
into a paper cup: This is the counterpointing surealism that we need to get an even sader feeling about the words. How much rubish do we say daily? How much rain are we filling endlessly into our "Papercups of life"?
They slither: We can see the change that words take with the time the fall from our mouths...
Lets just have a look now at the last words: across the universe: We know, that this song is from the phase, where our hallowed beatles were interested in TM. So the view of the universe seems to be inevitable. It is this universal position, that lets us be included in the text, and have a feeling of depressing weiriness. (Think of the rain, the papercup, and the slipping away...
Sisters, Brothers, That´s life:
Let us sing:
