A Conversation for Talking Point: h2g2 Site Re-Design
Registration v Login

I would like it to be easier to log in. Clicking the register button assumes you are a new user, and you then have to click on a link to get you to the right page. I've had to bookmark this page, which is fine, but then I miss out on the Front Page because the login takes you straight to your user page.
Perhaps more frustrating is having the login boxes at the *bottom* of the page. You must scroll down to the bottom, and the info at the top is redundant after the first visit!
Perhaps it would be good to have the login boxes *on* the Front Page... not excessively difficult and many other sites have implemented this.
Although the BBC has demonstrated its reluctance to adopt the practices of other similar sites - ie moderation.... (sorry to everyone who's sick of this, but I still think it's an important issue...)
Cheers,
Rob.

Yes. I agree, it is annoying to have to scroll past the info.
