Far be it from me to Pretend to Mining, but I felt a need to share. And to visit Plymouth, of course, after this.

You can't pretend to mine! Pretending to mine is our job!
The sentence "Maybe during the 1999 eclipse or at the turn of the millennium the Giant Metal Prawn will descend from its high pedestal and dance to selected tunes from the popular album "Step One" by the popular pop group Steps." made me laugh because of how badly outdated this is!

Hiya Jodan
I thought the author was being ironic, atch.
Then again, I am fairly gullible.
(I found pictures of this edifice, via our excellent friend Google/"prawn Plymouth"/images. Rather beautiful, but obviously retouched on account of the improbably blue sky)

Hi all,
author seems unlikely to reappear after all this time, .
I enjoyed this,
If it's not destined for polishing and front page viewing, then it's certainly one for the CAC.
anyway, "Going up."

That is come, obviously.
And, I did like it. The piece, that is. Valuable information for the cultural life of our nation. Sealife statuary, that's what we lack.

I love this. It tickles me every time I read it, which I do oddly enough every time picks are due. Hmm. Maybe this time.
Although as a fish I look down on prawns. Bottomfeeders the lot of them.
Speckly
Congratulations.
