Unsafe paragraph... Was about the very question I put, nothing to do with your reply. It is a shame the question was not better challenged at the time. But does show the differences between out and out flaming and posting a question.

I was not posting any answer to Star Fleet, please don't tell me what I was doing, or had a mind to do.

As for you being told off instead of waiting for IV to come back and read the back log. - Not by me you have not.

I'm of the opinion too many people have posted since IV's post for it to matter now anyway.

Also I think enough people have said yes there is a problem with ACE conduct, it does not matter if she does not come back. There is a problem to be addressed.

If you think her absense is to do with lack of evidence, well in fact it could be she is busy with real life moving issues.






Now the following is not specific to loup...

IV asked if I knew her, nope, but after a good look round on h2g2 there is "The FoLDers Arms" A913150 There in it's bar threads you may see her appear, and I post "" or along those lines, that's about it. In e-mail I did the same, in jest. Her answer was "What can a do on the internet, it's not real." Sounds just like what Lynsey said. So the above link to a row was infact to two people of similar mind on that point at least.

This is a webs site, not my life. It is claimed to be a freindly place by many.

Before SEF remarked I had left staff out. Well yes, since I don't have a problem with them, the thread not being 'Staff conduct'. As far a I am concerned the staff could operate the site in the way they see fit, they have the control, not me.
IF the say "no more users with nicknames starting with 'S' then that's the rule. You can tell them to get if EFin sorted but it's upto them to action.

People do attack SEF for "having a problem with staff, and dragging it into every thread"...

I have seen this on h2g2 and on the dna hub site.

If SEF was to have a problem, then SEF is a highly capable individual do deal with it. By posting about SEF as having some problem true or not... It detracts from the possible resolution of any such problem. It show's a group of people to be at best silly for all their name calling.

It shows dna sites have mobs. But that is the internet all over. Chat site or forum, after all they are but the medium for the people to abuse each other and any so called position of rank within a sites structure.

Am I defending anybody - no! I am defending my position, there are ACEs on this h2g2 site that abuse their badge, and the rules of conduct for ACEs need to be reviewed by us the users firstly, then approach the staff with our request, when we know what it is we are asking for.

The staff can't fix what is not proven to be broken.

I am so fed-up with this treadmill of a thread and the way people prefer to be pedant about post, than looking at the bigger picture that points are made, then covered over with squabble.

Unsubsribe? Yes I hope to do this sometime next week, so if you've got anything to ask me or say to me, do it here in this thread or via e-mail please, don't do it on my personal space, or worse still use somebody else to do your dirty work.

There is an apology thread worth a read, from the ACE forum. I wondering if it's time for another thread to ask one question only: "Do you think the ACE conduct instructions need to be reviewed, Yes or no?" Then if a good majority say yes, the disscussion of the 'how and when'?

i wasn't going to come back to this thread but only read it until iv has come back with "evidence or proof" of her "case" which i feel upto to now has not been proven, but in the near future it may or not be

jab i agree there was a mix up in postings with me and localised girl but we agreed on this, so i dont see the point youre trying to make

Its not just your post`s that are been yiked the mods are going through
the thread and post`s that break the<./>houserules</.>or are thought not to be in the spirit of h2g2 are fairly been yiked so you will find other researchers/Aces posts have been removed

The hole mob thing is realy been blown out of proportion now..It might seem like mob rule becouse a few Aces
have posted on here it is the aces code of conduct and a lot are interested in the alligations where some are realy defending there actions here on h2g2 and a feel that now the vendeta has turned around and
the mob will not be happy untill a few Aces have lost there badge a lot of people have braught it up go through the volunteers and take some badges from them and get some more aces in
But how they can decide bad apple from good again we havent seen no threads where a Ace is been nasty to any one or even been a mob rule situation..Iv pointed out a thread where Iv was talking to midnight angel and midnight asked me to go to the thread i was asked i didnt go in and post i was asked to comment
But i cant see how they decide what ones should be debadged
