The experts would have us believe that Gatorade was scientifically formulated especially for 'The Gators' Indeed it was a special drink that was developed especially for them that gradually spread until now it is probably the most widely consumed sports drink there is. It's probably even drunk by non-sports people aswell to the point for a lot of people the most important thing about Gatorade is to be 'Seen' drinking Gatorade rather than drinking it for its benefits. As for a sports drink, you'd probably be better off drinking water...
