Gatorade

One of Earth's most important drinks, Gatorade is the brand name of a flavoured 'thirst-quenching' drink produced by The Gatorade Company in Chicago, Illinois, USA. It's extremely important in the world of sports, mainly due to the fact that without it, more people would drink Powerade.
Gatorade's main ingredient is, not surprisingly, water. Its other main ingredient is, somewhat surprisingly, salt. But salt doesn't quench thirst, does it? No, it doesn't, but what it does do, is supply the body with electrolytes, which this reporter has learned are little lightning bolts that fly around in your blood stream and zap thirstiness cells (or something not entirely unlike that, anyway).
