I'm not alone in my on-off obsession then? Not that I particularly want to (a cry for help if you ever saw one), but are there any tips on how to become unaddicted. I was half sane before I started, now the the other half is sane, and this half isn't.

...how about pacing up and down for an hour waiting to see if anyone has left any messages yet. When you find they haven't you pace up and down for another hour.

I was reduced to playing endless games of Freecell, just to get that fix of sitting in front of a monitor!

I couldn't do anything about the sense of isolation, though!

I must spend some time off here I think. I'm not really a net junkie sort of person. Well ... I never used to be. Friday night used to mean going out with girl friend. God only knows what it means now.
