I am a Guru - a volunteer who helps with technical questions. I see you have already attracted an ACE too. A good trick is to refresh (reload) your Space fairly often to update your messages.

Sorry to add a completely random element into this conversation but, incidentally, I don't think vegetable racks are very good. If you mean the ones that you put potatoes and the like in. My vegetables always go mouldy or squidgy so I supose in one sense they are useful - for preparing them to go into the rubish bin and create that liquid known to all kitchen gormets as "Jus de bin".

Apparently not. Real time chat is very difficult to achieve on h2g2. Perhaps you should look for a chat room site.
