InvTan(1)+9+8+7-3-4! = 42
(Personally, I don't really like the InvTan(1)-trick, but the result (45) is always a good start)

To be really honest ...
I had to 'backcalc' the InvTan(1) bit that occurrs in some of the 42isms. But when I knew that InvTan(42) is 45, that gave me a flying start ...
Faculties seem to be rather simple to me ...
