A Conversation for Being Vegetarian -- A Beginner's Guide

I found it easy also to give up meat all together. I became a vegetarian about a month ago. 
I am looking for a recipe book for single recipes. All the recipe books are for multiple servings and I am not an expericenced cook. So I am leary of splitting up recipes.
If anyone knows of any such cook books. I woould be interested in them. Thanks
P.S. Indian food has become one of my favorites !

If you find a good book as decribed above, can you tell me about it? I'm getting bored of cheese sandwiches and microwave pasta... You'd never have guessed I'm a student, would you...
