Actually the ten commandments are a christian thing. Moses brought back several rules with him that the jews were supposed to follow. For some reason Christianity decided to single out ten of them.

Yes, but Moses did bring down ten rules for all Jewish people to follow (though shall not kill, though show not steal). Even if I have got it wrong again, the rules are basicly the same to both religions.
