Just wondering: should the header "But not much . . ." not in fact read "Much worse . . ."?

In the last couple of weeks I have discovered ceramic straightening irons so the era of really bad hair days may well be over

Oh, and hairspary. That is magic stuff.

Why did nobody tell me about this before I reached my 30s?!

Well apparently, you don't have to spray tons of the stuff on so your hair is like a solid helmet all glued together - that is what mum did so I always rebelled against it. Have now found out that a little squirt of not-firm-hold stuff helps prevent the creeping frizz

BTW, my typo in my quote needs fixing, sorry! hairspary -> hairspray

I've just had two year's worth of long hair chopped off I had to grow it so I'd have something to play with for the wedding but it is *such* a relief to get rid of it all! This, in combination with my straighteners and hairspray *ought to mean no more BHDs for me.

*of ourse it still looks a total mess first thing in the morning but it only takes a fe minutes to make it look almost normal
