A Conversation for Bad Hair Day

Um... how about:
Those who always have bad hair days
Those who don't always have bad hair days / those who avoid them
Those with specific reasons or excuses for their bad hair days
I was just thinking that you could put little bits of linking text in between - as cheesy as it is, it breaks up the entry a little (IMHO)

Does that look any better?

Crumbs - I didn't expect you to use my exact wording on that one...
But it has broken up the constant flow of information

To be honest, I appreciate the help, this entry isn't exactly my top priority atm. Not enough hours...

Enjoyed the article and it looks quite good, could perhaps do with some pictures, perhaps?

Pictures aren't allowed. (but there are links to pictures)
*If* this entry ever gets picked by a Scout, it'll go to be edited, then the editors decide whether there'll be a picture or not.

Hi again
Is there any way you can consolidate the first few bits into one paragraph, ie something like:
"A bad hair day has become an adapted saying in modern language. It is thought that the first famous person to publicly utter the words 'I'm having a bad hair day' was the First Lady Hillary Clinton. It's not known whether she meant her hair hadn't turned out well, or she'd just heard something shocking concerning a young intern called Monica and a close encounter with a cigar."
(But of course you would retain the italics and the links)
Also, I'm not sure but I think you need more capitalisation in those headers / subheaders.
One last point - since you only quote one example of a bad hair day under "Examples of bad hair days", how about changing that header to something like "One Really Bad Hair Day"

A good compendium of bad experiences!
Here's a limerick I submitted to http://www.oedilf.com (it was accepted too )
Absolutism killed Charles the First.
Absolution denied, he was cursed
With a permanent bob
By the barbarous mob.
A bad hair day? The absolute worst.
(For less historically conscious readers I included this comment: "King Charles I of England was beheaded in 1649, having been found guilty of treason.")
OEDILF do not (I believe) assert copyright, so you're welcome to use it if you wish!
By the way, in your first par it looks as if you meant "blamed for" rather than "blamed on".

Just hecked the copyright issue (in the vague hope that it may apply). The Oedilf editor-in-chief says "All limericks remain the property of the authors who contributed them and are reproduced here [viz in http://www.oedilf.com ] by permission. If you reproduce an individual limerick under the doctrine of fair use or fair dealing, please credit the limerick's author."

I don't really need a credit! But it might be worth putting in the explanatory footnote, at the end of the lim.
If you do want to credit me, I would love it if that were put in the footnote too; in which case it would read
Absolutism killed Charles the First.
Absolution denied, he was cursed
With a permanent bob
By the barbarous mob;
A bad hair day? The absolute worstKing Charles I of England was beheaded in 1649, having been found guilty of treason. Limerick by Recumbentman..

I'm not allowed to do that, I've added you with the (new) credits tag. If you want to check the test page you'll see it.

I will add the footnote though,

That's wonderful! again! The links to K. Cha. I and his death warrant are classy!
But I think the lim should be in a blockquote; here's the code
Absolutism killed Charles the First;
Absolution denied, he was cursed
With a permanent bob
By the barbarous mob.
A bad hair day? The absolute worstKing Charles I of England was beheaded in 1649, having been found guilty of treason..
I've tested that and it's ok. It also restores some missing punctuation in the lim.
The and are optional, the Blockquote formatting will take care of that, but it's up to you if you want them.
