I got dead excited when I saw this space because I thought "hey, a list I can join" only to findmI already have. But then, that's what comes of having the omnipotent MaW as a little bro I spose. Although he is actually considerably bigger than me. And cleverer.

Why is that fair?

so anyway, even though MaW has already said it for me here goes:

I am from Histon, Cambridge. I like it there thank you very much.

Srangely, (and slightly off the point because I have just read your whole page Trillian and cant rememeber where you said what) I have also visited Gernsheim in Germany. Please don;t take offence when I say that I loathed and detested it. I was a bit down on German at school at the time but I had to go on an exchange or be failed. Needless to say it was not the most successful trip anyone ever had.

Also off point: I have a friend from Colchester (who is probably lurking somewhere on h2g2 unbenoanst to me) and she has a pair of stillettos with gols glitter on. So beat that for tacky!

But tacky of the country has to be the people who live in Geordi land who still wear shell suits in the mistaked belief that they are fashionable. I nearly died of laughter when I first went up there to Uni a few years a go. And the stupid things have actually evolved since they were a common fire hazard in the south, they now have the feature of poppers all the way up the legs which means the trousers are worn with a big split up the side the better to show off pasty geordi legs.

Now: please dont take offense oh great and culturally advanced northerners of h2g2, but PLEASE. STOP! WEARING. SHELL. SUITS.

OK. So now you all know there is truth in that rumour of insanty and inbreading in the fens beacause I think there were only about two words of this actually on topic.

ho hum.

Ohhhh.. has anyone read "waterland"? We had to read it for sixth form English. I hated it, it's terrible. BUT. It is increadibly atmospheric and if anyone wants to feel what it feels like to stand out in the fen then this is the book to read. It will save you a plane journey to England.

Stopping now before someone invents an h2g2 alsylum page and puts me in it. Perminantly.

shell suits tucked into *white* socks no less. How do they not freeze in the wionter. I was cold in jeans, hell, I was cold in jeans with tights underneath. I'd be cold *in* hell.

In a shell suite I@d go blue and things would start to drop off.
