Great entry

This is a well written article about one hell of an entertainer. Well done! I was especially pleased that you got the fact of his non-relation to Frankie Yankavic correct. That is one of those facts that seems to right to be wrong, but it is.
As a reader I would have been more satisfied if you had include a few more facts, like where was he born?
How did he get his break into the industry.
I remember years ago, probably fifteen or more, listening to Doctor Demento on an AM station out of Chicago. The highlight of the show was always a track by this wacky kid with an accordion. The first Weird Al track ever broadcast was a song he wrote and recorded while sitting on the edge of his bed and singing and playing accordion into a cassette recorder. He sent it into Doctor Demento as part of a talent search contest and The Doctor played it on air for years after, even after he hit mainstream. I used to have tape of it. The song was about cruising the strip for chicks in his moms wood paneled station wagon. It was called Belvadear cruising. The was in his teens at the time and his voice would crack in the chorus. It was brilliant!
Great entry - but adding more details

Well, since so many folks think the article is great, and many of those same folks think a few details are lacking...maybe I might add a few more.
I was thinking perhaps of changing the format of the final paragraph into a bullet-point list.
What does everyone think of that?
Great entry - but adding more details

The bullet points work well. However, some of the information in them is repeated in the body of the entry which is a minor no-no acording to the entry standards as I understand them. Also, from a purely academic standpoint, a bullet point list is not a good way to end anything. A closing paragraph gives a piece more structure which helps the reader process the information enclosed. Perhapse the solution would be to move the list up the page a bit and write a short conclusion to end the entry
Just a thought.
Key: Complain about this post
