Pandora, the Uk *had* a woman in charge - for 11 years! It's such a painful memory I doubt if we'll be making that mistake again in a hurry...

When I was in my 20's...about a year or so ago I was being groomed to be the first 'Lady President'!!! The trouble was I couldn't pick a party...then I really discovered partying...and the fellows from Washington quit coming to see me every 6 months.
It may have had something to do with all the hickies on my neck the day of Charm School Graduation...I guess if 'Holly Hall' wasn't ready for me niether was the nation. 
Oh well...it's too noisy in D.C. anyway...I rather like thinking of what I could have been/done.
After 'doing my time' in local politics...I feel the country (in the country that is) is the best place for me. Do you think 'they' would have frowned upon nudity in the Whiye House?!? Which I would have painted red, white & blue as my first offical duty

Oh, and if we (sorry - they) get a Female President will her husband be called the First Lady? (you think that's daft? In the UK the Mayor's Spouse is called Mayoress whether they are a Bloke or a gal!)

When my mother-in-law suffered a stroke, the paramedic or nurse or somebody asked her questions to establish whether she was lucid or had suffered major damage: "What's your name? What year is it? Who is the President of the United States?"
She was lucid enough to reply, "Hillary!"
