A Conversation for Room 101

Room 101: People who dot their 'I's with great big circles. Just try reading even one paragraph full of those great big dots.
Room lovely: The Wacky Races. OK, I guess there aren't really enough WR fans for that one to go in, but I have to be loyal.
Room 101:BT. My phone bill is the length of a very long thing. And they wont let me pay just a flat rate cos I'm with Care4free, which donate money to charity every time you surf, but BT don't support them. To get the flat rate thing you have to join one of their approved, commercial SP's.
Room lovely: Marmalade and Jam. Yumyumyum. And healthy. (ish)

Big doting of the letter i. A clear crime. But to banish the people is unfair. Perhaps I should just banish the big dots.
The Wacky Races. Nowhere like as good as Duck Dodgers.
BT. Can you not change to another telecoms company then? Banishing a huge company that owns lots of the cables and wires to Room 101 would destroy the internet.
Mamrmalade and Jam. - Hmm tempting. What flavour jam?

digimon were the 1st little fightin monter things. They were originally the replacement fot Tamagochi, after people started gettin bored with them, u trained you monster & attached it, with little metal pins, to your friends digimon & they would fight. they could also do things like 'digivolve' into a tougher more powerful version or, if you were unlucky, into a pathetic little runt.
Not that i realy know much about them or any thing.

Oops, sorry. (ignore the last post.) Been away from the computer for several days and read the wrong page. To the Cyndaquil thing:
Type: Fire
Height: 0.50 m/1' 08"
Weight: 7.9 kg/17.0 lb
I would have replied sooner but I had homework and opera practice for the last few days and had no time to get to the computer. Oh, by the way, add "Homework on the weekend" to 101.

I'll withdraw BT then, if that'll make you happy. But the big dots over the 'I's stay put.
I see you included pokemon. That means I have had two of my nominations heeded.
Sorry to be conventional but it has to be strawberry jam. With real fruit in, not just flavourings, so you get bits of strawberries. Yum.
But just to be a little unusual, I do have some quince jam in my fridge. Maybe you should put all flavours in.
I didn't really expect the Wacky Races to get in. Only two people have ever visited my wacky races quiz, which suggests they don't have an enormous following on H2G2. I was being a little over-optimistic I'm afraid.

A534205. I didn't like to spam before, but if someone asks for the address it's only fair to give it.
You get to find out what car you would drive. Although a true Wacky Races fan would have supported my bid to get it promoted to Room Lovely.

The first person to get 4 nominations put in gets a bonus nomination from things I have rejected (as in the early series of Room 101).
Jam. Strawberry jam it is then.

Hooray for jam! With bits in.
I guess Twinkle's bid for homework for the weekend to go in room 101 is reasonable. Although, if he's young enough to still like Pokemon, he's too young to know what real homework is.

That killed that conversation pretty effectively.
Anyway, I've got another nomination, something that really annoys me, I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner:
Chocolate bar wrappers. The new kind. Allow me to explain.
A good example is Dairy milk. They used to be wrapped in purple tin foil. They were then enclosed in a jacket of paper, which you could slide off.
Wrapping the chocolate this way made it taste so much nicer. I think.
But, now they wrap them in those silly plastic foil type packets, where you can't just unwrap them, no you have to tear the plasticy stuff, and that makes it split right the way down the wrapper and it all goes WRONG.
Then, they say 'foil wrapped for freshness'.
IT ISN'T FOIL IT'S SILVER COLOURED PLASTIC!!!
I like my tin foil wrapped bars. But they are no more. Even kitkats, where the primary fun was running your nail down between the four fingers and splitting the foil.
Worst of all is wildlife bars (I don't know if you have them in America). They used to be great. You slid off the paper jacket and you were left with this tinfoil covered bar. You could then rub the tin foil, and you got a picture coming through. However, now they're covered in plastic stuff so you can't get a picture through it (although they still print the picture on the bar. I mean, do they expect us to just look at it? We want something interactive!)
I haven't actually eaten a Wildlife bar for years, it has to be said, but I object to them ruining my childhood memories with their plastic foil.
"Foil wrapped for freshness". So that would mean 'now it won't go off for longer so we can leave these chocolate bars on the shelf for an extra year without anyone knowing.'
How appetising.
