Couldn't you call it one culture with many parts?
Didn't they start out as the way to distinguish your self from the crowd as a bad boy/girl?
Isn't it kinda funny how they have slowly become more and more main stream so the way to distinguish your self is not to have one?
Doesn't it kinda of remind me of Dr. Suese(sp) story with the dudes with stars on thier bellys and the ones without smiley - winkeye?
