Alliteration should be the same letter
Alliteration of the letter 's' is called sibbilance
Assonance is the repetition of the middle sound of a word

*Starts sewing leg onto own frankenstein's monster*
How could this possibly go wrong? It's only a dreary October night, rain pounding on the window...
I know that book too well

That's just the movies. The entire book's about just how ugly the monster is. It's also not very well written. It starts with teh entire life story of Frankenstein's father. Not that the father does anything more than write a couple of letters in the book.
She also spends three small print pages describing some mountains. Dracula's better, but only a bit.

Everyone dies. They discuss things like science, religion, life and death, etc. At least, that's what my teacher tells me. I just think that Mary Shelley was an Emo with real issues about children

i actually quite liked Of Mice and Men, ceryainly not the worst book ive ever had to read, that'd be Great Expectations, i just failed to see the point! but of course thats not counting plays, cos if you count plays.....
DAMN YOU SHAKESPEAR!!!!!! THE HOURS I SPENT IN AGONY, HAVEING TO SUFFER YOUR DRIVVLE WILL NEVER BE RETURNED!!!!!!
shakespear had better hope theres not an afterlife, cos if there is im going to get veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery well aquainted with him
so i dont like shakepear.... is pretty much what i was trying to get across there

I cheered at the end of of mice and men movie(Not outloud, I was in the classroom at the time)
You think he was bad at GCSE? Try Hamlet at A Level! At least everyone dies there. We're not studying just Hamelt as a whole, oh no, we're studying the different types of speech he uses when talking to people. Like we actually understand enough of it to be able to see any difference between the way he's talking!
Anyway, Shakespeare's just an Emo (or yoda depending on which section you're reading)
Actually, I found one Shakespeare movie that wasn't too bad. The shakespeare retold's McBeth is fun. The witches are replaced with bin men and Lady McBeth jumps off the roof of a restaurant. It's nost fun since they actually changed the speech, so you can understand them!!!

sometimes i find the modern language versions of things like that truly cringe worthy
I was studying Chaucer "Canterbury tales" when the tv adaptation started
*shudder* billy piper played the millers wife i think
there are far too many modern versions of Romeo and Juliet

Tell me about it, I had to compare two movies of Romeo and Juliet. Something about dishonering her father or disobeying God. Billy Piper is some idiot weather girl in the Shakespeare retold's Much ado about nothing. I was dissapointed when she wasn't death or brain damaged

oh theres a point, i actually thought R+J wasnt that bad, but of course, Shakespear didnt write that, it's a classic love story lost in the mists of time.... shakespear just re-wrote it, or as i said in englisg class "oh god, not another bloody re-make!"
i hate the modern versions though, they just look stupid
