A Conversation for Welcome Back to h2g2!

Hmm. Something seems to be rather wrong with my page. I'm missing all the conversations at the "Discuss this Entry" area on my personal page. And I'm missing all my conversations other than the latest ten or so. Oddly enough, I have all my journal entries since I joined two Augusts ago. I've visited some of my friend's pages... they seem to have all their old "discussions" and conversations... I'm just wondering where mine went and if there's any way of getting them back.

There is a big backlog of forum postings which the []s need to work through - undoubtedly, some of the conversations on your home space are amongst them. They're working in reverse chronological order, so the most recent ones get checked first.
You'll get them back eventually - but it'll take time. TPTB reckoned it was better to get back up and running early, and continue to restore 'legacy' posts and entries in the background.

Ah... I figured they'd do it in revers-O-chron. I just wondered where on earth everything disappeared to, especially since I had a huge backlog myself of conversations I hadn't answered in months that I meant to about the day we went down (figures).
But! I'm glad everything's coming back, and so are my friends and everything's familiar and such.
I have plenty of time to wait.

Another happy customer! I like that. This would be a perfect time to come along to the zero-g chocolate banquet at the Alabaster House. The link is: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A444827

Something vaguely related to happy, yes.
To fully explain it, read my journal entry for today, 3.15.2001.
