Question about sexual content

I wrote an essay for uni on Sodomy and Homosexuality in the middle ages, and I can make it suitable for h2g2 (and hopefully the EG) fairly easily, so I'd like to put it up. However, I'm not sure if it would be suitable, given that this is a family site. It's not explicit, but it does refer once to anal intercourse. The rest of the time it uses generic terms like "homosexual acts".
I'd appreciate guidance on whether this is acceptable.

Sounds like something the staff would be best to comment on.
You would probably be best to ask them on the <./>feedback</.> back - that way they will definitely see it.

They are I think, but as you know it has been 'one of those weeks'
