This was submitted, as I thought, to Peer Review, in time for the 10th anniversary, but as my hub overheats and cuts out, it ended up in EGW. I hope it is not too late to be included in the Birthday choices. Just my

Don't panic, MMF, the requirement was to create the entry on the 28th, not to put it into Peer Review then. You've got plenty of time to go through this unusual and interesting entry and sort out all the punctuation.

I've managed to get a selection of photos for those interested. They were taken in Cromwell Gardens, close to the V & A museum, where I attended a mini-Meet with Hypatia, Teuchter etc. Not ideal, as it is a busy road... And I didn't fancy standing in the middle of it. I may try to get one of the Pont Street shelter tomorrow, which should be easier.

I think so. There sn't much more I can add.
Just need input and maybe a bit of cajolling if other information is needed.
Also useable (copyright free as they are mine) photos here, and others can be taken if needed.

MMF, so pleased about this, it was a lovely entry. Reminded me of Sid James, I am sure he played a taxi driver in something, and had tea at one of those shelters. I am sure that's where I first heard of them.

It means a lot, due to the gestation of this entry, it''s stillbirth, burial, and partial resurrection and what could have been!
One poster's gain is the EG's loss... But there's plenty more in the Fiddler's Elbow!!!
