I think it's a nice thing to show that we are part of the rest of the internet, and not isolated as a clique.
I came to think of the Douglas Adams site that our own the Duke of Dunstable runs, http://www.douglasadams.se/ and also the ZZ9 Plural Z alpha site http://www.zz9.org/
Perhaps there are more?

It's all very well to suggest favourite links, but they need to reflect not just our interests but the spirit of the community... As an ex-B3tan, I can say that while a lot of their members might share our interests it would be unlikely that Auntie Beeb would share many of theirs!

Keith Miller yes that Keith Miller Posted Apr 24, 2009
I had this recommendation on another thread:
Remember GW (Get Writing) and how MW (More Writing)arose phoenix like out of it's ashes?
It still survives and is flourishing with a good mix of members and still a few old GW stalwarts who are hootooers as well.
Would this be a worthwhile site to link too?
A lot of the pieces I've put up at the AWW have gone through a review process at MW and as a result they have arrived here with a little bit of polish on them and a few of these have made the front page.

I've noticed the Front Page external links are rather static.
How about http://www.moxon.net/ - Mark Moxon's travel writing site?
