The message is normally written in capitals. If it was indeed in lowercase as you've shown, then the p on posters would be lowercase, giving the game away.

Well, I always thought it was 'Bill Stickers Will Be Prosecuted'

(Although, why anyone would want to stick their gas/electricity/rates bills etc to the wall was and is beyond me as well).

I've sorted out the capitalisation and added a mention of Post No Bills (though I wouldn't mind the postman reading that one...)

It appears we get 'Stick no bills' or 'Private Property - Fly Posters Will Be Prosecuted'.

Is the latter a relative? His wife, maybe?

You also get this white paint-type stuff that people smear on the inside of the glass. Not sure what it is exactly. Anyone who does gain access to the building in this state can amuse themselves by employing a finger to draw smiley faces and write rude words in it.

It's not gloss paint, but it might be emulsion

I'll leave it as 'some sort of white paint' for now.

Just found out that the whitewash they use to coat windows is watered-down white emulsion, applied with a brush.

I just had the thought that this Entry would be more eye-catching if the title was 'Bill Posters is Innocent!'
