Two dogs in the vet's waiting room.
First dog: Why are you here?
Second dog: I bit the postman. I'm here to be put down. Why are you here?
First dog: Well I passed by the bathroom last night and saw my mistress bent over, running the bath water, totally starkers...and I er, well, I did what comes naturally...
Second dog: Oh, dear, you're here to be put down too?
First dog: No! I'm here to get my claws trimmed!
