I totally agree with you - for 13 years I've had the security of waking up in the morning and knowing that I have to wear those clothes and do that work...you know what's expected and what you can get away with. The security of school, and the priveleges that year 12's get, the comeraderie with the teachers, and the lack of picking on ppl cos we're all old enough to be over the "4 eyes" insults stage - it's something I'm really going to miss.
Don't get me wrong - it's great that I don't have to work until February next year...but it's scary that life from here on in is totally up to me - at school everything was prepared and made to run smoothly, but in the real world...!

phew i thought it was just me....i may only be a lowly 4th year but when all my really great friends started leaving after study leave i was a bit shocked. i think im gonna find it really hard to leave school even though the concept of living alone, going on holiday...is really appealling.
