MMF - Keeper of Mustelids, with added P.M.A., is now in a relationship.

Entry: Bridewell Palace, London. - A48280331
Author: Mazin'MadFiddler - Apprentice to the Art of PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) - Keeper of Mustalids. - U236774

This entry arose through a possibility of an entry on Westminster Cathedral and it's site previously being a Bridewell Prison lead to this. I hope it works.
I look forward to comments.

Thank you for submitting this Entry into PR and taking notice of some of the things I mentioned in the Edited Guide Writing Workshop. There are however some points that have still to be addressed. smiley - biro

The introduction header can be eliminated

Make sure your apostrophes are all the same, no curly ones please
You have two full stops after 'flood'.

Start your footnotes as soon as the last word finishes

In writing the list of items created at the Palace, you have some items with capital letters and others wit lower case, make sure they are all lower case

Be careful with dates the correct way of writing them is with two commas e.g. 3 March, 1865,

Usually referenced websites are put in the guide ml text at the bottom and only books/journals are shown

Good research MMF smiley - ok I can't fault the content, so I'll have to focus on the nitpicks:

All the occurrences of should be without the apostrophe, except the one in

an Irish saint of 5-6C >> an Irish saint of 5th to 6th Century

who's water >> whose water

The third paragraph of the Foundation section needs looking at.
<> This uses the passive voice and is better as

It's the sentence after that one that you should read back:
<>

<> Too many . Try

Capitalise heading and lose the full-stop at the end (the full-stop correction applies also to some of the other headings)

i.e. >> ie

cachement area >> catchment area

<>
Sadly this nice little turn of phrase doesn't fit as although the list may not be exhaustive, the work is exhaust*ing*

Hiya MMFsmiley - ok

What Opti means is you can't put "www" addresses in the text, you need to make a references tag thus:

After tag:

what you want to appear in the sidebar goes here
what you want to appear in the sidebar goes here

smiley - tea
Footnote one needs to begin with a capital letter.
smiley - tea
Footnote three: <<(Also spelt Dobbis or Dobbes)>> spelt = spelled
smiley - tea
Footnote four: <<(Also spelt Barne) spelt = spelled
smiley - tea
<> lose the full-stop after USA and move up the exclamation marks.
smiley - tea
Subheaders, Headers, etc, don't have full-stops:
King Edward’s School.
House of Occupation.
House of Punishment.
Enforcement.
The beginnings of the educational establishment.<--- capitalise beginnings; educational and establishment
smiley - tea
The Three degrees of poor.<--- capitalise degrees and poor
smiley - tea
the King’s bailiff 2. Your footnote is adrift there, move the tag up to the last letter: the King’s bailiff

You still have lots of curly apostrophes, MMF, they screw up some people's browsers and need to be fixed. They should be like this: *King's*; not this: *King’s*
if you don't know how to fix then we'll have to flag this up in the sub-ed forumsmiley - ok

smiley - ok Hopefully the above have been sorted, except the Curly-Wurlies.

I've typed and amended the apostrophies a number of times to no avail, so I'll have to leave it to the Subs... smiley - sorry

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
