I cannot believe I started this entry last Monday, due to visiting Westminster Cathedral, London, and discovering it was built on the site of an old prison, Tothill Fields Bridewell prison. From an intended entry on that (too little information) this grew. I have kept it brief!!!

This has great potential
I hope you don't mind that I've made a list of corrections to be made to this piece
Right first of all is the place called 'Brideswell Palace, London' or 'Bridewell Palace, London'?
It is unnecessary to write the same thing twice and the introduction header can be eliminated
Make sure your apostrophes are all the same, no curly ones please
Start your footnotes as soon as the last word finishes
I also feel you have too many footnotes and the piece may benefit from them being included in the main body of the text rather than at the bottom
In writing the list of items created at the Palace, you have some items with capital letters and others wit lower case, make sure they are all lower case
<> should be written 25 July, 1553,
Similarly <> should be 3 March, 1865,
<> should be 7 March, 1835,
Nineteen should be written as 19
century should be spelt with a capital 'C'
The double quotation marks are unnecessary as ”where at three blows, his head was stricken off.” you have italicised the piece
Usually referenced websites are put in the guide ml text at the bottom and only books/journals are shown

Thanks for those, and I've amended a few.
Couple of questions, and forgive me as the head is full of cold, so not thinking straight!
>>Make sure your apostrophes are all the same, no curly ones please<,
Could you expand on this for a real to understand, and give an example?
>>Nineteen should be written as 19<<
Are you referring to the ages in this sentence 'between the ages of eight to nineteen'?
I'll track down the elusive century when my head is clearer...

And, yes, it should be Bridewell!
. Thought I'd found all those pesky spare S's!!!
I hope it reads better now.

My head is full of stuff too at the moment mainly my feelings towards the recent breakup I've been through and I had a cold recently too.
Anyway you don't want to hear my personal stuff so back to the entry.
If like me you have written this entry on word then copied and pasted it be careful. For the apostrophes in words such as don't and can't appear as curly ones and should be straight. Just go over them all and make sure that they look straight in the passages of text.
Yes 19 refers to <>
To make things easy on yourself to track down words such as 'century' try doing a search. A simple ctrl f will produce a search facility for you to find them quickly.

Thanks for that.
I'm one of those minority types who use a Mac, so it is Appleworks for me, and I don't know any shortcuts like that, but never mind. I'll find it.
That's the ages sorted, and the dodgy c Capitalised.
Thanks.
And I hope the footnotes are more acceptable, as I don't know how to reduce them further without becoming extraneous clutter, pr being too 'wordy'.
