Yes, that was me. That nap did me a world of good. I had an awful nightmare that I was someone named Researcher sixteen-something and that the computers weren't letting me post as Q*bert, but I feel great now.

But I was serious when I asked what people wanted for Christmas (or Hannukah, or whatever). Being the nosey bugger that I am, I thought it would make a halfway interesting topic... oh never mind. <"chugs" from his bottle of asprin. Don't try this at home, kids>

I was also serious when I thanked (St) Dragonfly for inviting me.

Aside from World Peace, I think I'd like to have my own place and RINGO STARR for Christmuse... smiley - smiley

Other than world peace, an end to world poverty, ecological preservation and other such boring shtuff, I'd like
a round trip to Australia,
a copy of the Zillions of Games software
a copy of the Manuscript found in Saragossa, by Jan Potocki
money
Bjork (I mean a cd of her music...really...)

(I love these settings, which reminds me...)

Here you are Dragonfly. Who was it that wanted the trip to Europe? Bjork's gotta be in here somewhere. It's too bad you can't do EVERYTHING in a forum...

All together now.. And a partridge in a pear tree.

I'd also like my computer to stop posting things twice.

when your computer gets stuck in the process of posting, instead of stopping and hitting the "post" button again, hit "stop", and then "refresh" if your browser allows you these options, or select something else to go to, like "my space" or "front page". your post will be made after you hit the post button once, even if your computer locks up and doesn't display the conversation again.

Let's see... that's not it... I don't want a teddy bear for Christmas...This bag sure is big... jeez, what kind of person would ask Santa for *that*?... no..no... pardon me, ma'am... Hey, it's money! It's CANADIAN money. Might as well just trade cigarettes for food... no.. that's no good... maybe sometime when I'm alone... What's that?! MOTHER OF GOD! LET GO OF MY NECK, YOU SQUAMOUS ALIEN HORROR!! YOU'LL NEVER TAKE MY SOUL WITHOUT A FIGHT! GET BACK TO YOUR DIMENSION--BEYOND THE REALMS OF MORTAL MAN!! I hate it when they do that... Hmmm. I thought I lost that term paper... Raggedy Anne...Transformers action figures... Playstation 2... this looks like all the standard Kwanukkahmas presents...Oh great, it's getting so you can't go anywhere in this multiverse without seeing a Gap franchise. No, I don't want a coupon for 50% off women's jeans, you corporate peon... Wow, that's the smallest eggbeater I've ever seen... Oh forget it, I don't have time for this.

Umm, I'm sorry to run out like this, but I've got exams coming up and I won't have time to post for a while. But keep posting your wish lists. I thought the ones we got so far were pretty interesting. I'll be back later in the month. Happy Holidays everybody.

Kumetanzuka the capricious

I'd actually like to take a look and see if I can find that Canadian money Q*bert rejected. While using it IS like trying to drink from a mesh cup, it's what I've got, and I certainly wouldn't mind having some more...

Um, if I don't come out within the next couple days... somebody'll save me from that horrible alien monster... right? RIGHT?

Right, so... here goes.

*lifts corner of bag*

Actually, maybe I should have a couple of Pan Galactics first... no! Here I go!

*Enters the bag, which subsequently emits a strange sucking thump*
