h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi Fellow BFGs.

I have a request: I was thinking in the future of doing a h2g2life for the post featuring the BFGs.

I have 2 main questions for everyone:
1) Does anyone mind if I try to represent us visually? and
2) If you'd like it to happen, how do you want to look?

Now my skills are limited, so whatever you ask for I'll do my best (within reason ). Also, if you have any suggestions as to what Demios looks like I'll be all ears. LOL

I'll start the comic in a week or two. So anyone who doesn't speak now will have to rely on what I make up.

Oh that sounds like so much fun! What a good idea! Of course I don't mind! (Fame at last! )

I'd like an overall air of stupid enthusiasm and to sport combats please with long dark hair and fringe, big ears (My hubby hates it when I tuck my hair behind my ears!) and with big boots (I said "boots" dearie - not "boobs"!) and even bigger biceps (A dream that I've never fulfilled!)

I've always visualised Deimos as being almost Earth-like (lots of civil servants and jobs worth types around), but with two or three suns and moons with weird, stupid looking buildings and even weirder-looking natives with lots of rain forest type plants. Oh and for some reason, mostly in blue and green colours (I have no idea why!).

Yay! Great idea. BFG Kes is an over-the-hill mercenary ... Rambo gone to seed ....very unwashed tank top & combat trousers, far too many guns etc carried around.

Ok, Gwennie has a great description of Deimos. Mari is always Trinity from Matrix in my mind, but more confused... black leathers, slightly scuffed. Carrying a Big F****** Gun, of course.

As the originator of the original 'Pleasure Domes of Deimos' forum, where we ended up after one of Veggies Parties, I can confirm that Gwennie's description does just fine, although don't forget the huge desert strewn with bizarre-shaped purple rocks!

I must admit I haven't checked to see how much of the old place has returned... but I'm sure we can all remember our adventures.

Shazz is shazz as drawn already by Wowbagger, long red hair and a penchant for short tight skirts or body suits (although half the time she seems to end up wrapped in a towel!) She has a tendancy to hum 'If I had a rocket launcher', but carries a very conventional phaser as a weapon... plus assorted explosive items stuffed into her belt.

Umm... some of you guys have given me a description of what you're wearing, but not what you look like LOL. Once again I have limited abilities, but I'll try my best.

I'm sure a talented young father and husband like yourself will come up with some wonderfully amusing but flattering caricatures...

Gwennie and Shazz are both very pretty. If you give me short dark hair and a small gap between my front teeth you'll have me, but I like Trinity better... Kes is lovely too! even when he can't spell dog!
