Okay, enough is enough. As USAian, one who has visited only a very small part of England, and a frequenter of hootoo in general, I am shocked and appalled that there is no formal, edited entry on England itself. In light of this grave shortcoming, I am suggesting that someone -- anyone and everyone who can -- help bring this wonderful but unedited and apparently abandoned entry up to snuff. There's been plenty of suggestions for this particular entry to be edited in the past, but it seems no one's yet suggested it in either PR or here ... the guidelines suggest that it should be here, but I'm wary of how often people check this forum.

Anyway, here's hoping ...

Can you put some spaces between the paragraphs to make it easier to read? And maybe a header or two?

Uhm, no - it's not my article. The original author seems to have left the building about four years ago ... presumably just out for lunch, of course ... but I can't edit the article. The comment for formatting has been made, that's an easy fix. I was hoping someone could collaborate with the original author and help this become an edited entry since I liked it a lot.

Well, if the author isn't around any more, no changes can be made, so it's no good putting it in a review forum. How about copying it, crediting the original author, and working on it yourself?

Well, because I'm in the USA and therefore ignorant of many things English. This article already contains more than I even knew about England. That is why I put it here, in the hopes that someone else would do just as you suggest - rewrite the entry and give credit to the original author. I thought that's what I said in my first post.

Perhaps we could get some Scout, Editor or Sub-Editor to move it to Flea Market, where some particularly knowledgeable Englander can take it on?
