There have been several excellent entries recommended this week but one stands above them all. Handy Latin Phrases guides you through Latin phrases, extending from the relatively useful to the totally absurd. My favourite was 'Quantum materiae materietur marmota monax si marmota monax materiam possit materiari?'... or to us English speakers 'How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?'... surreally put in the 'Useful Phrases' section.
Another great article is Galileo Galilei. Though it may not entertain all, it is highly informative yet easily readable. It is well written and has just the right amount of irrelevant comments to bring a smile to your face.
Limericks has several good limericks and information on how the limerick was created. It also explains in easy-to-understand English the structure of a limerick and rules that must be followed to classify it a limerick.
