I have just returned from a holiday in Brittany - Finisterre - both me and my daughter trod on a weaver fish on two consecutive days at low tide. Pretty painful for about an hour.

I found the weaver fish sting reports useful, as I've put one in the children's book I'm writing. When I worked in Boots on the Isle of Wight, we let people put their foot in a bucket of hot water for 20 minutes in a back room. Question: Does the foot swell? If so, how soon? Does the spine leave a mark on the sole of your foot? If so, how soon?
Cheers,
Hazel
