BECOME A GUARDIAN ANGEL - APPLY HERE! NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2001
The Theory Posted Jan 18, 2002
If it was just the rules that set this site apart from everywhere else, I would have zero interest. But it also seems to attract a high quality of people, too. Most people are friendly and nice... unlike most message boards I have read.
peace.

The best
I wonder how he'd have felt if he'd seen the old h2g2.
I really don't notice the difference now, I am a glass half-full type, I appreciate the BBC for buying h2g2 in the first place.
Without the BBC we wouldn't be here.
Full Stop.
Rules I can live with, as I rarely break them.
If I want to post an outside link, I put it on a page of links & refer the person it was intended for, to that.
{Never post outside links on your personal spaceor if your link turns into a porn-site overnight you'll lose your page!}
Yes, that *has* happened to me!
The site rules are here for a reason, to save the BBC from being sued.
Can't blame them for that.
I agree with the yikes button.
I rarely use it, but it's good that it's there.
Remember that children post on h2g2.
I've met researchers as young as 8.
We need to watch what we post.

I agree with Galaxy Babe but I like the thought of becoming a guardian Angel.

To whom it might concern:
I have spent a considerable amount of time around h2g2. And my request to become and ever helpful Ace is delayed until the next recrutement cycle. (which as I've heard can take awhile.) So instead of closing up and deciding to be a hermit I still want to help out. Could I become a Guardian Angel? Please?

Of course Ba'alzamon - are you aware of what being an h2g2 Guardian means, and could you choose a patronage?
Have a cup of while thinking about it...

Isn't a fallen angel a former with a lifetime ban from the Guardian Angels?
In that case Patron might be a better name than Patron Saint!

And what your saying is?

Marjin, After a long time of procrastination back lurking Posted Feb 20, 2002
IMHO the right combination should be A Guardian Angel being Patron Saint of [whatever].
A fallen angel should be an ex-Guardian Angel.
But as Titania said, that's for God Almighty and the ArchAngels to decide.
And another thing, you are in he wrong thread actually. You should apply in F57543?thread=157250
