A Conversation for HEAVEN...
Northern Light ceremony
Titania (gone for lunch) Started conversation Jun 12, 2001
*floating in, in her vague, elf-like manner, into one of the least used and ancient parts of heaven*
*it used to be a huge hall, but the roof is all gone now, and only the white marble floor, and parts of the walls remain*
*the sky is the ceiling, and at this time of year, it will be light day and night, although the sun will be below the horizon in the middle of the nigth*

Titania (gone for lunch) Posted Jun 12, 2001
*starts preparing the hall for a new sainting ceremony to be held this Sunday*
*places vases all around the hall, some of them small, with lilies of the valley, some of them larger, with lilacs*
*an enchanting fragrance starts to spread all through the hall*

*at one end of the hall, there used to be a throne, but, since it was made of wood, it is now long gone - but the steps still remain, forming a platform*
*comfortable furniture is placed along the crumbling walls, in case some of the angels pass out*
*Titania stops, hesitates, thinking: 'Do we really need that?'*
*nods to herself: 'Yes, definitely'*

Why? Are you planning to pass out, Herald of Heaven?
*looks up at the night sky*

I've never passed out at a ceremony, have I?
I really would love to experience that! Much better than my photo of an overcast night sky! http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A575507

*grabs a broomstick, and starts practising at the swinging*
*almost knocks Ottox out*
Oops - guess I need more practise - but I need something heavier...

*Squeak-aw ... Squeak-aw ... Squeak-aw ... Squeak-aw ... Squeak-aw ... *
Must fix the dodgy wheel on this thing!
*Kes kicks one front wheel of the drinks trolley. The squeaking ceases*
Hi GB, Titania, Ottox! Where shall I set up the bar? How about in the back corner here ... plenty of room.
*Unfolds treslte table, covers with white cloth, sets out glasses. Unloads large ice-bucket; checks inventory*
There should be plenty. I might just mix a small trial batch of PGGB ... purely to see if I remember the recipe.
*Mixes a jugful, and pours *
Anyone want to help me test it?

Ottox Posted Jun 12, 2001
* glad to realise the squeaking came from the drinks trolley. for a moment thought that the room was filled with silly mice *
I'll be happy to test the PGGBs (I have to go to sleep soon anyway )
Skål!
