Now that this entry has been *ahem* decommissioned, I have reinstated the phrase "Notorious 'Jargonauts'" which was originally edited out {and replaced with 'notorious abbreviators' - ha!}.
"Jargonauts" captures exactly the spirit of those brave souls boldly inflicting new language elements upon people who have no use for them and no desire for them, but - importantly - no escape from them.
