Gnomon - time to move on

Here's a strange animal that we saw in a rock pool in Greece:

I thought at first that it was a milliped, but I now reckon it is a polychaete worm (bristleworm), although I don't know the exact species. It was about a foot long.

Ste

The Natural History Museum has an amazing ploychaete identification tool (!) here: http://www.nhm.ac.uk/research-curation/projects/taxinfo/index2.html

From the photo given I didn't have enough information. But with your memory and more photos you might be able to identify the family, genus and species.

Let us know how you go!
