h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I think one of the criteria of animals being preferred is for them to be furry despite (to a certain extent) size. People often don't respond well to reptiles and I wonder whether that is to do with their total lack of fur. I'm a cat person despite the fickle nature of the animals and often ask myself why I give my cat house-room, particularly when he's being awkward. Seriously though I wouldn't change him and doesn't he know it . . .
