That would be me. I did many of the things that you said I wasn't permitted to do. Which one of these has caused the squack trouble is something of a mystery to me.
Note it's only been referred, not removed, and I fully expect to see it reappear come Monday morning. However, for those of you who can't wait:
Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday dearest Xanthia, Happy Birthday to you.
[small amounts of copyrighted lyrics specifically allowed for - and two words changed from original]
I'm vaguelly lib-dem
[as on my home space]
weak atheist
[ditto]
who thinks that quantum physics is overrated
[controversial and unbalanced statement?]
And the way of the world is kinda twisted
[kinda being English, unlike 'kinder', which means children in German]
*smokes virtual joint*
[note that virtual joints are legal in every single country in the world, and that I'm not advocating drug use by anyone for whom it would be illegal]

'twas me. I was attempting to demonstrate that all the things you were saying you weren't allowed to do, you were allowed to do. Unfortunately, I seem to have drawn two particularly stupid squacks from the lottery box, so they'll go off to the editors and be reinstated Monday Morning.
Unless I'm mistaken about some issue of policy, which is possible - has happened before. Ahh well.

If you think that's daft; I complained about http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A498431
and got a note telling me the article was fine and wouldn't be removed.

For some reason it wasn't seen as offensive (but they did remove the word t**d)

Hi Lucinda -
Yes you're right the posts were only referred to me, and have just been reinstated.
This conversation has also been moved out of Peer Review because the orginal entry has been deleted, and it's now totally off topic.
