Thanks for the concern, Parrferris. While nothing is guaranted forever, we're cautiously confident that h2g2 will be continuing for the foreseeable future. Certainly, we are not included in the list of sites mentioned in the reports.

Thanks, Jimster. I'll keep my fingers crossed that h2g2 remains safe.
TiT - thanks for the link. I'm sorry that Get Writing is closing, though it isn't a DNA site I used (being barely literate!). I was one of the active members of SoP Devon, however, so I've been in a similar situation and know how it feels.
